What we collect and why

We collect the website URL and email address you submit. We use them to run and send your Warmth Check and to contact you about that request.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to requests people choose to send us and operating the Warmth Check service. We use only the limited information needed for those purposes.

Where your information is stored

Your details are stored with Supabase in its London region. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect the information we hold.

Who we share information with

We don't sell your details. We only share them with the service providers we need to operate WordWarm, including Supabase and Vercel.

How long we keep it

We retain Warmth Check requests for up to 12 months after the last contact, then delete them unless we need to retain information for legal or accounting purposes.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.

To make a request, email privacy@wordwarm.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
